CENTERING VISION AND VALUES IN EVALUATION
Annual EERS Conference
Registration for the 2025 Eastern Evaluation Research Society (EERS) virtual annual conference is now open.
We recognize that many evaluators and researchers are navigating through a complex time right now. Some of you might have lost jobs, contracts, or other revenue. But we still want each and every one of you to attend our conference and we want to do something to help.
To make things easier on everyone, we will drop our conference registration fee this year to $10 (ten dollars). That $10 registration fee applies to everyone: speakers, students, first-time attendees, long-time evaluators - anyone can attend the conference for $10. We also welcome attendees to register as a Friend of EERS for $50, providing a $40 contribution that can sponsor other attendees in need.

We hope that everyone who is directly (or even indirectly) connected to the evaluation and research professions can join us on May 1st and 2nd for this virtual conference. And the invitation is open to everyone regardless of where you are in the world - Eastern is in our name, but evaluators from across the entire United States (and the world) are invited to join us for two days of learning, healing, and growth. We welcome you with (virtual) open arms and look forward to sharing space, thoughts, and time with you.

Registration FAQs
Why $10? Why not just make it free?
A virtual EERS conference has two regular expenses that we need to keep in mind. First, we have a tradition of awarding the best student proposals. These cash prizes incentivize students to submit presentation proposals while also recognizing the significant time and effort required to prepare them. Second, we offer honoraria to our plenary speakers as a recognition of the time and effort they put into their presentations for us. The $10 registration price point allows us to cover these two expenses while also (hopefully) reducing the financial burden of attending the virtual conference in these challenging times.
Is the conference virtual?
Yes, the entire 2025 EERS conference is hosted virtually on Zoom.
What are the start times for each conference day?
Thursday morning begins at 9:15am Eastern with a special session for first-time attendees. Friday morning kicks off at 9:30am with the opening plenary.
I work for an organization with non-profit status, and we are exempt from sales tax. How do I bypass the sales tax when paying my registration fee?
Zoom charges sales tax on all registration fees based on your credit card zip code. EERS does not have control over this charge. Zoom reimburses this charge when the appropriate IRS documentation is presented. Click the following link for more information Zoom Tax Exemption FAQ.
