Associations are entering the potential for a new “Golden Age” where professionals are seeking engagement, membership, and professional development over a career lifetime at increased levels. The new, younger, workforce does not have the same companies offering lifetimes of professional, educational, and career development that older generations experienced. They are looking to their professional associations as career-long networks for growth and development. The American Evaluation Association is increasing its relevance by strengthening our board governing structures, growing leaders from across all sectors of the organization, and deepening member engagement. Attendees will learn about Association trends, AEA’s plans for increased effectiveness, and have the opportunity to ask the hard questions of the President about AEA’s inner workings.
